Love to sing? Join Ms. Megan to refine your singing voice. Begin to learn proper singing techniques as well as performing in an ensemble. This class will have the opportunity to perform in our end of semester recital.
Optional recital performance will be held at the end of the semester. Please note that Uptown Musik is a safe space welcome to ALL. No bullying or speech of such will be allowed. We encourage you to speak to your child about encouraging one another in this vocal class :)
Megan Kerns
Megan Kerns has a Bachelor of Science in Education and has been with Uptown Musik since 2022. She currently teaches Kindermusik, Voice Lessons, and Art classes for the program. Her favorite part about Kindermusik is that it fosters confidence and friendship. Starting at an early age, music became very important to Megan. She learned to play piano, guitar, and mandolin. She hopes to share her love of music with each of the students and families in her classes. Megan has been married to her husband, Nate, since 2016 and they have a daughter, Callie, who is six. They stay busy homeschooling, golfing, going to church, and participating in homeschool groups. In Megan’s spare time she like to crochet, bake bread, and start projects that she’ll “finish another time”.
