Kindermusik Ripples Pre-Piano/Level 4
This special class for homeschooled children ages 5-6 (Kindergarten age) is the perfect combination of the Kindermusik classes this age loves plus some preparatory piano learning. Your child will enjoy learning about a wide variety of musical concepts, explore instruments and begin basic music theory.
Not quite ready for music lessons? Level 4 classes help build a foundation for formal music instruction. Children explore basic music symbols and more complex instruments, and master concepts that boost learning in other subjects.
A $50 one-time family enrollment charge for anyone new to our school year classes or a $30 annual family enrollment charge for returning families will be made immediately upon enrollment. Monthly tuition runs September 1-April 1. Payment may be made Venmo (@allison-antoine-2) or ACH bank withdrawal with no added fee. A 3.5% service charge will be added for credit or debit card transactions.
Digital albums, narrated e-books, and more are available on our password-protected family platform, accessible via desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.

Kindermusik Level 4
Level 4 classes focus on basic musical symbols, complex instruments, and more in-depth movement games. Children begin to master new music terms and concepts, and ready themselves for math, reading, and writing.

Children increase phonological awareness, focused attention, communication skills, and vocabulary. - Cognitive
The connections in the brain that are used to integrate new learning, make decisions, and think critically are strengthened. - Musical Skills
Children show increased pitch accuracy when singing and gain a better understanding of rhythm patterns.
Miss Allison
Hi! My name is Allison Antoine (or Miss Allison). I was a Kindermusik kid myself back in the late 1980s which I believe sparked in me a huge passion and love for music. I play several instruments with piano being my forte (music pun intended). I graduated from Augustana College in 2006 with degrees in French and K-12 education. After successfully completing Kindermusik University, I launched the Kindermusik at the Lakes studio in September 2017. Not only am I passionate about music but I am passionate about educating the whole child and the whole parent as well. In my free time you can find me hanging out with my family (husband, Dan, and three kiddos), being outside, cooking and baking healthy foods and helping out around the community. I can't wait to meet you and know that you and your little one(s) will love Kindermusik, too!

Special Directions
Our studio is located in the lower level of the Pearson Lakes Art Center. Summer camps are held in the gazebo/green space to the west of the Art Center.
