In addition to your scheduled classes, registration in our program provides you with music, books, activity ideas and so much more. Your albums, including many of the songs, stories and rhymes we will use in class can be streamed from the web or the app.

Foundations June
A gentle, joy-filled class designed for you and your baby to slow down, connect, and savor the wonder of the first year. Through soothing songs, playful movement, and nurturing touch, you’ll support your baby’s development while deepening your bond. Each week offers a calm, welcoming space to celebrate milestones—from first smiles to first steps—while sharing the journey alongside a supportive community of caregivers. Join us for this early summer mini session or add July and make it a full summer of music, learning, and fun.
Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.

Kindermusik Foundations
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.
- Movement Control
Different movement activities help babies strengthen their core muscles, which increases their sense of balance and control over movements. - Social Adaptability
Group activities allow babies to experience familiar and unfamiliar social experiences in a safe and secure way. - Listening and Communication Skills
Listening to music and doing vocal play exercises helps develop a baby’s back-and-forth communication skills. - Language and Literacy Development
Introducing spoken sounds and rhythms through songs and rhymes helps support language and literacy development.
Miss Eleni
Miss Eleni Reyes is a singer, violinist, violist, performer, and teacher; currently residing in Kingston, NY. In 2011 she graduated from SUNY Ulster with an Associates of Science in Music. Shortly after, she began to apprentice with Jeanne Dolamore at St. Joseph’s Catholic School where she learned how to build a children’s strings music program using the string chorale method. While teaching at St. Joseph’s she began teaching at Little Lambs Academy in Lake Katrine, NY. During her time at Little Lambs she came to realize her love for teaching young children's music. Her love and passion for young childhood music and education led her to pursue and learn about Kindermusik. A curiosity that brought her to a path she couldn’t be happier to explore. As the newest member of the Pathways to Learning, Inc Kindermusik educator team, she is excited to join and learn more about this wonderful Kindermusik community.
Pathways to Learning - Kindermusik Studio
Our Red Hook studio is thoughtfully designed for the magic of Kindermusik! Every corner of the space is created with young children and families in mind — from instruments and props right at our teachers’ fingertips to the open layout that invites your child to joyfully move, dance, and explore. This warm and welcoming environment allows families to be present and connect while their little ones learn through music, movement, and play. It’s more than just a studio — it’s a space where creativity, laughter, and meaningful moments come alive.
