Foundations June
A gentle, joy-filled class designed for you and your baby to slow down, connect, and savor the wonder of the first year. Through soothing songs, playful movement, and nurturing touch, you’ll support your baby’s development while deepening your bond. Each week offers a calm, welcoming space to celebrate milestones—from first smiles to first steps—while sharing the journey alongside a supportive community of caregivers. Join us for this early summer mini session or add July and make it a full summer of music, learning, and fun.
Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.

Kindermusik Foundations
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.
- Movement Control
Different movement activities help babies strengthen their core muscles, which increases their sense of balance and control over movements. - Social Adaptability
Group activities allow babies to experience familiar and unfamiliar social experiences in a safe and secure way. - Listening and Communication Skills
Listening to music and doing vocal play exercises helps develop a baby’s back-and-forth communication skills. - Language and Literacy Development
Introducing spoken sounds and rhythms through songs and rhymes helps support language and literacy development.
Miss Beth
Miss Beth, Beth Anspach MT, is a Music Therapist, Licensed Kindermusik Educator with the designation of Maestro in Masterful Teaching, Certified Conscious Discipline Instructor, and mom of 3. She is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Therapy. Beth has been a licensed Kindermusik Educator since 1996 and has offered classes in Red Hook since 2002. Since then she has enjoyed being able to use her knowledge of child development and love for music and children to provide high-quality musical experiences for young children and their families in northern Dutchess and southern Columbia Counties of New York State. In 2011 Beth was named"Inspirational Educator of the Year" by Kindermusik International and in 2012 was given the distinction of Kindermusik Maestro of Masterful Teaching. In addition to teaching Kindermusik Beth is passionate about Conscious Discipline and is now the only Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor in the northeast. Pathways to Learning - Kindermusik Studio
Our Red Hook studio is thoughtfully designed for the magic of Kindermusik! Every corner of the space is created with young children and families in mind — from instruments and props right at our teachers’ fingertips to the open layout that invites your child to joyfully move, dance, and explore. This warm and welcoming environment allows families to be present and connect while their little ones learn through music, movement, and play. It’s more than just a studio — it’s a space where creativity, laughter, and meaningful moments come alive.
