In addition to your scheduled classes, registration in our program provides you with music, books, activity ideas and so much more. Your albums, including many of the songs, stories and rhymes we will use in class can be streamed from the web or the app.

Perfect for lap babies, crawlers and early walkers, Foundations is a place where all of life’s little miracles that seem to fly by so quickly are captured, magnified and celebrated with a sweet community of parents and babies. A delicious time of calm, relaxing, and steady support for you and your baby. Our knowledgeable educators while guide you as you peek inside your baby’s miraculous little body and mind to see how with every song and rhyme, with every whisper and peekaboo, you help unfold their natural gifts and help them develop all while feeling your love.
Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.
A non-refundable $50 deposit will be charged upon enrollment. The remaining monthly payments of $91.45 will be charged on the first of the month beginning in September and continuing through May 30, 2026. The 2025/26 school year runs from September 9, 2025 through May 30, 2026. To discontinue your enrollment before the end of our school year, you can notify us in writing allowing 30 day notice. Payments will be due for any classes available to your family during the enrollment period set by your 30 day notice. Siblings enrolled in the same class receive a 40% discount on the second child. Kindermusik Foundations
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.

- Movement Control
Different movement activities help babies strengthen their core muscles, which increases their sense of balance and control over movements. - Social Adaptability
Group activities allow babies to experience familiar and unfamiliar social experiences in a safe and secure way. - Listening and Communication Skills
Listening to music and doing vocal play exercises helps develop a baby’s back-and-forth communication skills. - Language and Literacy Development
Introducing spoken sounds and rhythms through songs and rhymes helps support language and literacy development.
Miss Beth
Miss Beth, Beth Anspach MT, is a Music Therapist, Licensed Kindermusik Educator with the designation of Maestro in Masterful Teaching, Certified Conscious Discipline Instructor, and mom of 3. She is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Therapy. Beth has been a licensed Kindermusik Educator since 1996 and has offered classes in Red Hook since 2002. Since then she has enjoyed being able to use her knowledge of child development and love for music and children to provide high-quality musical experiences for young children and their families in northern Dutchess and southern Columbia Counties of New York State. In 2011 Beth was named"Inspirational Educator of the Year" by Kindermusik International and in 2012 was given the distinction of Kindermusik Maestro of Masterful Teaching. In addition to teaching Kindermusik Beth is passionate about Conscious Discipline and is now the only Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor in the northeast. Pathways to Learning - Kindermusik Studio
Our Red Hook studio is thoughtfully designed for the magic of Kindermusik! Every corner of the space is created with young children and families in mind — from instruments and props right at our teachers’ fingertips to the open layout that invites your child to joyfully move, dance, and explore. This warm and welcoming environment allows families to be present and connect while their little ones learn through music, movement, and play. It’s more than just a studio — it’s a space where creativity, laughter, and meaningful moments come alive.
