Mini Maestros I
This is the perfect group class that will prepare your child for private music lessons. Students will get to play a variety of instruments, and learn about tempi, dynamics, musical form, beginning music notation and more as they explore many genres of music!

Kindermusik Level 3
Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.

Children gain a wider vocabulary and knowledge of story structures and learn how to decode and interpret symbols. - Cognitive
Preschoolers show a growing ability to memorize and recall information, and present increased attention and focus. - Listening and Sound Recognition
Children are able to detect patterns, nuances, and timbre in different sounds they hear. - Socialization
Children learn to wait patiently, take turns, work cooperatively in a group, and communicate effectively and respectfully.
Joel Medina
Joel fell in love with music through involvement with his church. He started to play percussion, drums, guitar, and piano there. He taught music at elementary schools in Puerto Rico and is back in Chicago inspiring students of all ages here. In addition to Kindermusik classes, Joel also teaches guitar, drums, piano, and several ensemble classes at Bucktown Music. 🎶 Learning different types of music also helped him fall more in love with the universal language of music - Jazz, Bossa Nova, Blues, Pop, Reggae, Ska, Punk, Reggeaton, Rock, Metal, Hip-hop, Contemporary Classical, etc.

Special Directions
Please do not come to class if you or your child are feeling unwell, or have a fever or cold/cough symptoms. PHONES: In order to model mindfulness and presence, maintain the learning environment and respect the privacy of class members and teachers, we ask that you do not use your phone in class or take videos.
Studio Policy
SESSION CLASSES: Your one-time payment in full is due upon registration. ONGOING CLASSES: Your credit card will be processed for the first month's payment and a non-refundable $25 registration fee ($124 total, minus any prorating or promo codes) within 2 business days of registration. Billing is then set to recurring billing at $99/month autopay starting the following month. Baby siblings under 12 months are free in the Mixed Age class, and all other siblings are charged at $59/month. There are no credits or refunds for missed classes. Makeup classes are available while you are currently enrolled. Ongoing class withdrawal: if you need to withdraw, let us know in writing (via email) before the first of the month that will be your last and we will turn off your billing.
