Bonnie Kim

After several years of teaching locally and abroad, Bonnie Kim is so excited to bring her love of music and teaching to the families of the South Puget Sound! Her love of singing began as a young girl in a family of music educators here in the PNW. Choir has always been her greatest passion and she has been a part of school or community choirs her whole life in Klamath Falls, OR, Spokane, Seattle, Seoul, South Korea and now Olympia! Bonnie has a BA in Music Education (Choral Emphasis) from Whitworth University and her teaching experience is extensive and spans many age groups and subjects. She was a substitute teacher for Seattle Public Schools, a site supervisor/lead teacher at Sweet Pea Cottage Preschool of the Arts, an English immersion preschool and kindergarten teacher in Seoul, South Korea and a middle and high school music teacher at an international school also in Seoul. She met her husband while in Korea, had 3 children there and has since enjoyed spending time with her family after making the big move back to the States. As a parent of young kids, Bonnie knows how valuable quality time is with developing children and she is thrilled to provide an intimate, fun and educational experience for young kids and their caregivers together. She can’t wait to meet you!
