Lisa Trotzke-Laws
Lisa began playing clarinet as a child and quickly began teaching clarinet lessons to children younger than her. She was also very involved in choir and theater and had a hard time deciding if she wanted to study voice or clarinet in college. She ended up attending the University of Michigan and received a degree in Clarinet Performance in 2007. After working as a professional clarinetist for a few years, her love for movement allowed her to make her way into the ballroom dance industry where she taught lessons and competed with her students. After working for Interlochen Arts Camp and Norwegian Cruise Lines as a Youth Counselor, she decided to relocate from Michigan to Orlando (mostly for the weather!) where she built her own Dance Fitness program for kids. She believes that she has never let go of her own childlike spirit and that is why she continues to be called to work with children. Lisa got involved with Grow and Sing Studios in 2022 as a parent watching her son experience the magic of Kindermusik. Upon becoming an educator, she is continually fascinated by the power Kindermusik has to enhance a child’s development. She is looking forward to supporting the curiosity, silliness, uniqueness, courage and musicality in each child and to empowering the caregivers to create an even stronger bond with their littles. Lisa says: “If there is one thing our world desperately needs it is more thoughtful, expressive, confident, and compassionate humans and I can’t think of a better way to serve than teaching Kindermusik!”

Our accredited, skilled and caring teaching staff is fully dedicated to delivering your family the highest quality and most enjoyable experience possible. Our goal for each and every class is to lead you through an enriching experience with care and compassion. All of our Accredited Kindermusik Educators are background checked and participate in ongoing professional development to ensure curriculum in class is always new and exciting! Our staff are all wonderful musicians and teachers, and we truly LOVE what we do. Together, since 2003, we have achieved Kindermusik Top Program Status, and we are currently in the top 1% of Kindermusik teams worldwide. We have also been awarded Kindermusik Brand Ambassador. Through the power of music, you’ll build confidence, strengthen family bonds, and help your child reach important developmental milestones in a way that feels as joyful as it is meaningful. In every Kindermusik class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills. Our approach to early childhood education and award-winning, research-based, and developmentally appropriate curricula prime children for success in school and in life.
Studio Policy
1. I understand that my credit card will show payment to Grow and Sing Studios.
2. I do hereby release and forever discharge GROW AND SING STUDIOS, it's employees, agents, directors, officers and any affiliate associated with GROW AND SING STUDIOS and the owners of any facilities where classes are held from any and all actions, claims, and demands for, upon, or by reason of damage, loss, or personal injury which may be sustained by my child or myself during the course of, or as a result of, this musical activity.
3. I understand that my student is enrolled in a class through GROW AND SING STUDIOS and said class is being held at our current locations. However, I understand that they will not be supervised by any employee or member of our current locations, and agree to release our current locations from any responsibility for my child. I understand that any and all questions, communications, and payments in reference to my child's Kindermusik class will be directed to GROW AND SING STUDIOS, and not our current locations. Furthermore, I will not hold our current locations or any of its employees or representatives responsible for any injury that might occur at our current locations before, after, or during my child's participation of class through GROW AND SING STUDIOS.
