Violin Adventures

This Suzuki-inspired class combines movement and games with musical instruction to introduce young learners to the basics of music theory and violin playing. Students will learn about concepts such as pitch, rhythm, and dynamics, as well as how to play by ear. Students must provide their own instruments. (Check with studio for rental violin availability.) The class begins with 15 minutes of parent-guided instruction, followed by 15 minutes of instruction with only the students in the room, and ends with 15 minutes of co-mentoring time with older/advanced violin students.

Mary Beth is a wife, mother, musician, and teacher. She has over 30 years of performance experience in community orchestras, and 10 years of teaching in secondary education classrooms. Now settled in Clemson with my family, she is excited to bring her teaching and music experience together to inspire the next generation of violinists!
