"All Keyed Up!" Keyboard Camp 5-9 yr olds June 12-16 @ The Multi Activity Center (MAC) at Mitch Park in Edmond 12:30pm-3pm (5 day camp) Tuition: $140 A camp favorite is back! We’re All Keyed Up! There is magic to be found in those 88 keys! Immerse yourself in the magic of keyboards of all kinds. Listen to and learn about pianos, organs, synthesizers, and harpsichords. You’ll explore staccato and legato sounds, get to know the sounds of a few famous composers, and even experiment with composition. This is the perfect way for a young child to build keyboarding skills needed for formal piano lessons in a fun class-style environment filled with storytelling, games, vocal exploration, musical instruments, snacks and more! Sharing time on Friday with caregivers at 2:40 pm. This class is for NEW & BEGINNER piano players! Includes Kindermusik Take Home Materials + Castanets, and a Beginner Piano Book. Minimum enrollment: 6 Maximum Enrollment: 12 If you would like your child to sign up for this camp AND our morning camp, Disney Mini Musical Camp for 5-9 yr olds, (9am-11:30am), you will receive a $10 discount after you have registered for both camps. Space is limited in Keyboard Camp, so sign up quickly! Campers that choose this option must bring a sack lunch and will eat/play from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Ms. Alyssa Burnett
Ms. Alyssa's desire to teach music began when she was just a child. In middle school, her academic goal was to go to Oklahoma Baptist University and major in music education. Eight years later she achieved that goal and graduated in the spring of 2005 with a Bachelor's in Music Education (K-12). Her love for children took her immediately to an elementary school in the Oklahoma City metro area where she had the privilege of teaching 600+ children each week. With children as her focus, Alyssa decided in 2010 it was time to focus on her new daughter, Lydia, and children her age. Kindermusik has become Alyssa's avenue for teaching her children, and other little ones how to love music and love life. Ms. Alyssa has fully embraced teaching littles and loves offering summer camps for older kids as well. She loves connecting with children and parents through music and helping each child discover his or her gifts and talents, using music as a catalyst.

Founded in 2010 as Kindermusik at Crossings, we are now growing in numbers and locations and are Musical Me in OKC! Join us for musical fun and growing during the school year for Newborns-7 yr olds and summer camps for 5-12 yr olds! We are located in the Multi Activity Center (MAC) at Mitch Park, right next to the Edmond YMCA.

You you want to enter in the doors with the Edmond Parks and Rec sign out front which are the doors closest to the YMCA. This is to avoid going through the assisted living center which is attached to the MAC. Check in with the receptionist and sign the Edmond Parks and Rec waiver. Come down the hall to Room D where Ms. Alyssa will be waiting for you!
