Enrollment Overview

Nuance Music Studio offers year-round instruction. The Enrollment Agreement begins the first week of September and continues through the end of June, concluding with our recital week.

Students follow a scheduled calendar with 40 weeks of lessons throughout the school year. Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly installments, billed from September through June.

In addition to the regular school-year lessons (billed separately), Nuance Music Studio also offers optional summer lesson packages of 4 or 8 lessons.

Enrollment Agreement

To maintain clear communication about tuition, fees, summer schedule, and amount of classes per semester, we ask that the parent(s)/caregiver(s) read, print out, sign, and return to us the Policy Agreement that will be sent to you as an email attachment the week before each semester begins.

Tuition & Fees

Families are responsible for full payment of all lessons reserved in their calendar.

Registration & Materials Fee: A non-refundable fee is charged at the time of enrollment and billed annually. The amount varies depending on the student’s level and the required Kindermusik materials.

Tuition: Payable in advance and due on the 1st of every month.

Payment Program: Tuition will be processed through our online payment program and will be automatically debited (from credit or debit card only) on the 1st of each month from the payment method you provide on the platform.

Upon registration, your credit card will be charged for a non-refundable registration fee.

Late Fee: A $50 late fee will apply to payments received after the 1st (in cases where a payment method is declined or not updated).

Lessons will be suspended after 10 days of non-payment. Repeated late payments or non-payment may result in termination of lessons without refund.

Schedule Holiday and Observed Dates

A calendar with the 40 weeks of classes and the holiday and observed dates will be sent to you during the first week of each semester. No lessons will be held on the dates marked as holidays and observed. Please mark your calendars accordingly.

Make-up classes

● Families enrolled in the Kindermusik programs Foundations, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Mixed Ages may attend up to two (2) make-up classes per semester, subject to availability.

● Make-ups must be scheduled in advance and are only available while the child is currently enrolled.

● If, for any reason, Nuance is required to cancel a class, a make-up will be scheduled or a credit will be issued to families for the cost of the canceled class.

Class Cancellation by the Studio.

If a class is cancelled by the studio (excluding emergency closures), a refund or credit will be issued for that class. Refunds do not apply to cancellations due to state-declared emergencies such as severe weather events (e.g., tornadoes, snowstorms, hurricanes, or other emergencies).

Termination of Lessons

Families are responsible for full tuition for each semester once the first installment is paid.

If you wish to withdraw before the second semester, you must provide written notice at least 30 days before the start date of the new semester. Otherwise, tuition for the semester will remain due in full.
