Michelle Thompson
Michelle has been a lifelong resident of Cedar Falls, Iowa, residing here with her husband and two children. She has been musical all her life - singing, dancing, figure skating, and playing the violin. She has a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Northern Iowa with an emphasis in Childhood Speech and Language Disorders. Michelle is the owner of Little Light Studio and is licensed and accredited in all levels of Kindermusik. Her mission is to facilitate meaning relationships between participants in her class (both adult and child), as well as the development of the whole child, through joyful interactions using music and movement.

At Little Light Studio, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills. Through Kindermusik, your little ones will learn to love music and movement. Our approach to early childhood education and award-winning, research-based, and developmentally appropriate curricula primes children for success in school and in a life full of learning!
